"Pssst Soraya? Soraya? Hey Soraya!"
"Hum? Yes? Wha- what's wrong?" Soraya snapped out of her daydream after repeatedly hearing someone call her name.
Soraya looked forward, right in front of her eyes, Diana and Kimberly stood and looked at her with puzzled looks.
"Are you daydreaming?" Kimberly asked. She seemed quite aware of what Soraya had just done with her hand on her chin and her eyes looking far away.
"Ah... I'm sorry! I really didn't realize you were in front of me. What's wrong?" She asked innocently while laughing awkwardly. That made Kimberly and Diana even more confused and finally tried to hold back their laughter as they looked at each other.
"Hahaha... we should be the ones asking that! What are you doing here alone? Daydreaming in the middle of a deserted garden." Diana said. She paid attention to her surroundings, as she said. Although the place where they are located is a park that is still part of the university complex, this park tends to be quieter than the other parks.
"Right! Of all the places, why are you daydreaming here?" Kimberly asked. She pulled up a chair and sat across from Soraya. Seeing Kimberly who seemed to be enjoying this place quite a bit, Diana had no choice but to sit down and join in.
Soraya sighed, trying to hide the anxiety she had been feeling since yesterday's incident in her room and involving her roommate, Kerry Smith and her boyfriend.
"What happened? Did something happen?" Diana asked again and honestly Soraya had no desire to discuss the matter.
"Nothing happened, everything is fine!"
"Is that true?" Kimberly asked. Even though she didn't seem too interested in knowing it, her mouth still made that statement.
"Yes of course!"
"Oh yeah, I heard David works in the mini market line across campus. Did you guys know?" Diana asked. She immediately changed the topic and that made Soraya quite relieved.
"Really? I just found out from you!" Kimberly said.
"I know!" Soraya said.
"Really? Have you seen it work?"
"Yes, I met him yesterday while shopping and he was in the shop. I also met Mister Robert. His sudden appearance made my heart almost burst out of me."
"Hahaha really? Geez, you're always unlucky to meet him like that huh?" Kimberly who was laughing so hard, didn't seem to agree with Diana who sat beside her and looked disapproving that what happened to Soraya was unlucky.
"How can it be bad luck? I think Soraya is very lucky. Since she was called to the front of the class to draw the line even Mister Robert asked her name, I think it's a fortune that not everyone can get, you know?"
"Luck? Tsk, I thought you were the only one thinking that. I don't know what's good about such an arrogant and cold-hearted man?" Kimberly spoke loudly, as if she had her own trauma with the cold-hearted arrogant man she expected.
Diana snorted, she didn't agree at all. Kimberly's negative way of thinking is the problem. She hates someone for no reason just because she hates such a character.
"Don't judge a book by its cover, Kim! I think you know that. It could be that the person you think is bad and annoying may actually be the kindest and most caring person."
"I don't care, it's up to you if you want to idolize him. So Soraya, what about your roommate? Have you talked to her?" Kimberly asked. Soraya gasped, she didn't expect Kimberly's question to make her have to go back to remembering the bad incident she had yesterday.
Soraya didn't really think that what had happened to her was so bad. But it was clear that she felt very uncomfortable and uneasy because the bed in which she slept was once a place where lovers had s*x.
"Soraya, are you okay? You're daydreaming again!" Diana showed her palms in front of Soraya's eyes, trying to make sure this innocent girl didn't fall back into her thoughts.
"N-no, I'm not daydreaming. I just-" She couldn't keep up. Soraya wasn't sure she could tell them what had happened to her roommate.
"Seeing your nervous reaction I can guess, something must have happened to you, right? Did you two have a fight?" Kimberly asked. Although she doesn't want to admit that she and Kerry Smith had a fight yesterday, it's enough to realize that the relationship between the two of them is not going too well.
It was a secret, Soraya was sure that even Kerry didn't want her embarrassing secret to be spread and known to others. Maybe not everyone should know what happened or maybe what happened was a normal thing, but it felt very uncomfortable for an innocent girl like Soraya.
"Everything is fine, nothing to worry about!" She said. Soraya tried to smile, but her eyes caught the figure of a tall, black-haired man walking 10 meters behind Diana and Kimberly.
The black-haired figure walked calmly, stiffly with a cold and mysterious look on his face. His eyes glanced briefly at the spot where Soraya was looking at him nervously.
A pair of very beautiful blue eyes amazed Soraya, she had to admit that the creature standing there was an incredibly beautiful creature. It was too beautiful as if it felt unreal, like a statue that was carved flawlessly.
Only 3 seconds, those eyes only glanced at her for 3 seconds. But it was enough to make Soraya feel mixed feelings. Amazed and scared at the same time. Yes, she was frightened by the look in his sharp and deep eyes.
"Who do you see?" Diana asked. She immediately looked back, saw the same figure that Soraya saw.
Kimberly who seemed to have guessed, only glanced at him with a look in her eyes that showed that she was not at all interested in the figure.
"You'd better keep an eye on both of you! It's obvious that you two keep staring at him!" Kimberly said.
"Eh? Really? Did you find out? Hahaha... what are you going to do? After all, he's very charismatic, really cool. Isn't it, Soraya?"
"Ah, I-I think so- " She answered nervously. Soraya gulped. She was too embarrassed to admit it.
Deg
She felt her heart suddenly beat fast. Either out of nervousness or completely fascinated. She only realized that the mysterious lecturer was starting to catch her attention more than she thought.
