Manchester Police Station 7:12 p.m "Sorry for the lengthy interview today, Mr Stanley. Thank you for answering all the questions we asked!" Said Inspector John Smith. This man reached out his hand for a handshake. There was no doubt at all from the piercing gaze he gave and to be honest it made Robert Stanley believe that this middle-aged man really did suspect him. Since the discovery of the body of a 21-year-old young woman found in a car this morning, all suspicion has been placed on him as the last person to see her alive. Suspicious, from the movements of those who picked him up from his house and took him to the police station. It was clear that they were eager to capture him. A cop who looked much younger than Inspector Smith came over and seemed to want to join in on this conversation. "Mr. Robert, I hope you don't mind if at any time we ask you to come back to investigate this case and also the case of the s*x doll that was thrown in the trash." Said the young man. Unlike Inspector Smith who could control his reactions, this young cop clearly showed his suspicions. Meanwhile, Robert William Stanley, who wore a straight face after being interrogated for eight hours, did not show any fear or concern at all. He understood that they suspected him, they even gave him 52 questions which he could all answer well. "I understand, Sir! You can call me any time. Isn't that right, Inspector Smith? I'll be very sad when you retire because I wish you were always young. See you later?" He said as he opened the door and walked out. After Robert Stanley left, the two cops sighed and stared at each other for a few seconds. "I hope we can establish him as a suspect soon. Too bad because he has a strong alibi. I will look for evidence to drag him to jail!" Said Andrew, the young policeman who had just served in this city for 2 months. He is still very excited because this is the first death case that he has faced. "I hope you don't act rashly! As you know, there is no sign of the car being forced open and closed and the victim's body also has no signs of violence. We still have to wait for the results of the autopsy!" "Okay, Sir! I understand!" *** Mr Brown's Cafe David tapped his finger on the table, he was very nervous. He took several sips of water from his glass and this was clearly beyond his expectation. Previously, David was very confident that he would welcome this day with ease and enthusiasm. But in reality, he was feeling very nervous and his confidence was dropping. David looked at the clock on his hand which was already 3:40 pm. The appointed time to meet Soraya today. They were going out on a date, at least that was what David thought about their plans for the movies today. David tried to remember the time they were supposed to meet at this cafe and the messages on his phone clearly said they were supposed to meet at 3:00 pm. That's right, Soraya was 40 minutes late and there wasn't even a hint of her coming soon. David began to worry, several times he intended to contact Soraya, but he refused because he was afraid that Soraya would think that he was being too pushy and in the end it would make them awkward and uncomfortable. "Why hasn't she come yet? Where is she? She didn't even call me!" David muttered. She was starting to get irritated, but she knew she had to be patient. Yes, but it only lasted 10 minutes and now it was 3.50 pm. David was getting impatient, he took out his phone, looked for Soraya's number and tried to call her. "David?" Just before David pressed the phone symbol on his phone screen, Soraya appeared in front of his desk with a sweaty forehead and ragged breaths. "Soraya? You-" "I-I'm sorry!" Soraya who felt very guilty immediately bowed and apologized. It was clear from the look on her face that she was panicking. David put his phone on the table and holding back a laugh he grabbed Soraya's shaking hand and held it tightly. "What happened to you? Why are you sweating like this? Are you running?" David asked. His anger and disappointment disappeared when he saw that Soraya had come and kept her promise even though she was a little late. Soraya lifted her head to look at the hand that was in David's grip. Soraya felt very confused and didn't know what to do at a time like this. She wasn't sure that he could ask David to let go of his grip or let him continue as if they had held hands before. To overcome her awkwardness, Soraya could only lower her head and heal her accompanying face. David who realized that, hastily let go of his hand. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean-" David who was too embarrassed couldn't even continue his words. He lowered his head, staring at the flat table to hide his embarrassment. "Hahahaha... never mind! I'm sorry for being late. Kerry called me and asked me to take her clothes to the hospital and I went to the hospital to bring her clothes. I knew I should have called you and said that I would be late, but when I realized I left my phone in my room. After returning from hospital, I went back to the dorm to get mine. I'm really sorry, David. You must have waited too long for me." "Not really! I was just worried about you, but I'm glad you're okay and that you could come today. Then you can order a cup of coffee before we go." Soraya nodded and took her place in front of David. Soraya took off her coat and smoothed her slightly messy hair. For a moment, David was in awe. He had to admit that Soraya was very beautiful. "David!" "Ah huh? I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean-" David said in a hurry, as if he was being caught off guard. "What happened to you?" Soraya asked confused. David was silent, he felt so ridiculous and really wanted to laugh at himself right now. "No, I'm fine! You want to say something?" "Yeah, I honestly need your help. But that's if you don't mind and-" "Of course I don't mind! You can ask me for help, I'll help you as much as I can!" David said it excitedly. He felt very happy because he thought that Soraya needed him. "Thanks, David. I was honestly thinking about moving out of the dorm and looking for a small apartment to live in." "You want to move?" "Yeah, I've been thinking about it for the past few days and I've made my decision. I want to move out and live alone." Hearing Soraya's wish and the sad look on her face made David even more convinced that Soraya was in serious trouble with her roommate. "What the hell happened? Did you have a serious problem with Kerry Smith? Did she really bother you?" David asked. He began to seriously think about this matter and he knew that Soraya was hiding something. Soraya smiled gently and it was clear that it was not a genuine smile. "No serious problems, just incompatibility. Maybe it's all because I can't adjust to differences. You don't have to worry, I'm fine." ***
