Luna's grip on my wrist was iron as she pulled me down the corridor, away from the courtyard chaos.
"We have five minutes before Kane realizes I've moved you." Her voice shook. "Maybe less."
"Where are we going?" I stumbled after her, my pregnant body protesting the speed.
"Somewhere you need to see." Luna glanced back, her eyes desperate. "Somewhere that'll show you who my brother really is."
We climbed stairs I hadn't known existed, hidden behind a tapestry in the east wing. The passage smelled of dust and old secrets. My heart hammered against my ribs.
