Chapter 17: Photos and Lies
Ella POV
The pics hit the pack networks real early. My phone blew up with notifications before I even opened my eyes.
The first pic loaded super slow. It was me and Kane. His hand was on my face. I was leaning towards him. The light was soft, like it was a moment.
Except it wasn't real.
I scrolled. More pics. Kane's arm around my waist. Me laughing at something he said. We were standing close in what looked like the gardens at night.
All lies. All fake. All meant to ruin me.
"Ella?" Luna knocked softly. "Don't look at your phone. Please, just don't..."
Too late. I was already on the fourth pic. This one showed me letting Kane give me what looked like his mating mark. My neck was tilted like I wanted it, and his teeth were close to my skin.
