Chapter Ten - Part Seven

In response to his friends’ smirks, Etienne just shrugged one shoulder and took a drink of his scotch. Casmin and Adrian turned to look at the women to satisfy their curiosity about what caught Etienne’s eye. “Rowdy group, aren’t they?” Casmin commented. “It’s entertaining.” Adrian replied. The two continued to look at the table and share commentary. Etienne couldn’t help himself, he turned and looked at the table again. His eyes were immediately drawn to the feminine figure that he admired only moments earlier. He still wasn’t satisfied and wanted to look at her more. Without looking at his friends, he knew they were still smirking at him. “Shut up.” He said, taking another sip of his mediocre scotch. They quickly looked over their shoulders over at the women when they yelled in unison and knocked back a shot. “Definitely entertaining.” Adrian said. “Think I’ll go try and make a move on the dark haired one with curls that came up to get the drinks.” Casmin said, elbowing Adrian, looking at Etienne out of the corner of his eye. “f**k off.” Etienne growled. “Oh. Look, she’s heading this way.” Adrian said. “What?” Etienne quickly looked at his friend.
