Ada stood in the main room of a refugee facility. The very same facility that Etienne had brought her to when she saw her past in the eyes of the people here. Just like everything else she worked on, she gave the place her blood, sweat, and tears. She helped them put on fundraisers to pull in much needed donations. They had renovated the facility, giving the building all the modern updates it needed to easily pass codes. She cleaned up their book work and trained the staff how to properly manage the facility’s finances and then track them. She was falling in love with the place and getting close with the staff. Which seemed to happen with every facility that she helps get off the ground.
