Chapter 2-Fated
Alpha Malcolm POV
Alpha Malcolm mind-linked Benjamin, his Beta, and within seconds he was with me. He quickly got closer to the three what he saw had broken his heart, The poor girl, Darla. What in the world is she doing here and who must have done this to her.
"You shouldn't be having anything to do with her, she is not our type, moreover she is from our enemy pack, Silver Crest Pack. She is worthless and cursed and that is why they had abandoned her, tied on the tree fit the forest beast to take her for a meal." I heard my wolf Ray yell in my head so I decided to let her perish and go ahead with my hunting in the woods.
But then, a feeling of mine pulled me back to her attention to the point I was moved by her pains. I rushed back. I carefully untied her tiny body from the tree and made it lay plain on the sandy ground. I noticed she was breathing slightly, her breathing was unstable.
I lifted her unconscious body in my hands and hurried to the pack's clinic. I could see my Beta following me closely with a raging face, as soon as I entered I heard people coughed but it was obvious to me their coughing was mischievous. I sensed it but I decided to give them the benefit of doubt. They all give me the bow and I didn't reciprocate as usual this time though bring their Alpha it is the sweetest part, seeing your pack member bow to you but all I wanted was to see the wounded girl get back to life.
I laid her tiny body on the couch and strengthen her legs to allow her to recover from muscle contraction and pains.
“Why can't someone call the nurse, doctors, physician, or something. why is everyone just staring at me like an imbecile” I yelled at the people who were just staring at her in shock at who must have done this to her?
We waited for over an hour, I wondered where my pack nurse and Victor had gone to this early morning. then I saw a lady seem to be a nurse with her telescope approaching before she fully diverted her direction towards the wounded on the couch.
She looks at me without saying a word, pulls a chair close to her, and begins to examine her. I was going to lose my patience with all of the pack doctors and nurses if none had shown up a minute ago. When she was done examining her she called for me. I didn't hesitate. Everyone was surprised at their Alpha being so concerned about a strange girl. I ran towards her and held the nurse's arm immediately, "What is wrong with her? Is she fine?" I asked nurse Bella anxiously.
She will be fine Alpha, just some bruises and a concussion on her head which led to her fainting. She had some dislocation and she seems not to have enough body weight and muscle mass that would have helped her from the dislocated joints. Her tiny skeleton is not helping either and she was tied to the tree stay for too long and her oxygen intake supply temporarily was caught off due to the piece of cloth tied to her nose but I have examined her, she will be conscious tomorrow." Bella explained.
I left a bit happy with her response and nodded in appreciation. She smiled at me, bowed, and set on her way out.
Suddenly it was done on me that I was missing something all along. I didn't bother to ask why she had the bruise? why was she stuck in a tied at the Wood's tree? and the most important question…,
Who must have don't such a terrible thing to her? my sadness was soon turned into anger at the thought of someone harming her. I rapidly turned around to face the pack members who were around me, specifically Beta Benjamin
“What is the meaning of this Beta Benjamin?” I asked with a seemingly calm voice.
He choked.
“Uh-She, She seems clumsy and will fall when a little wind blows at her and for the tree, I think some kids might have done that to her.” He replied.
“Who did this to her!" I yelled with a loud growl. I have had enough of his lying already.
“Answer Beta! Who did this to a poor girl?” I yelled.
“Do you mean, her? Why are you so concerned about her, Alpha Malcolm ” before he could continue I grabbed his neck and pinned it to the wall because his response was already infuriating me.
“A word against her and I will rip your head off your body!” I growled.

Darla's POV
I suddenly woke up at the rumbling sound of conflict and things being tossed about. I opened my eyes to my surroundings everything seems blurred to me. I had to blink twice before I felt a sharp focus on my sight.
I am lying on the couch where seems to be an Alphas special living room, how did I get in here? The only thing I can remember is my parents taking me to the Wood's, suddenly someone I never saw his face held me and tied me to a tree while my parents were nowhere near to rescue me and the next things after I lost consciousness is that I am waking up in front of a nurse and men fighting.
I looked around and saw someone grabbing another man on his neck, he looks like an Alpha.
“A word against her and I will rip your head off your body!” the man who held someone on the neck growled.
I tried to get off the couch but fell abruptly on my face, I guess my ankle is sprained.
“Poor girl,” A pup said, I became sad for myself, as I didn't know if he was being sorry for me or mocking me.
I tried again and failed to get up, suddenly a pair of strong arms picked me up by my waist and sat me down on the couch. Then I felt a strange and tingling sensation where he touched me.
He sat beside me with a concerned look on his face, I look at him confused. He cupped my face and smiled at me. I kept my face straight. He smirks, I frowned at him because I don't trust anyone at this point. I don't know where I am. A glance at the room, I saw an emblem which made me realize I was at the Woods pack. how I git here is unknown time and how I will go back home is the part that part I couldn't figure out because they are murderers and don't pretend about it.
“Hi, are you okay now?” He asked me in a deep and hoarse voice.
I gulped and hesitantly shook my head.
“Good! What is your name he asked with a small smile”
“Darla” I replied with a cracking voice guess as a result of my so much crying.
“Ooh wow! You have a beautiful name and it fits a gorgeous gem-like you, I see” He said with what looks alike affection in his eyes.
“Alpha Malcolm!” I heard a voice of a lady who seem to me to be Luna screaming from behind me.
I quickly got off the couch and prostrate to her. She ignored my greeting and gave an evil stare at the person who was having a conversation with me, Who sat beside me, then he did something which got me stunned and scared for my life.
