Julian and Moreno heard Arras growl so they hurried Darla to leave the class at once with them. Lilac and Lavender's scent hits Alphason. The combination of the sweet, soft, and herbal scent envelopes him. He traced the scents to Darla and there she was. "I will be on the lookout myself for her. She will be gone I can I assure you guys if she doesn't get her ass composed. I will teach her a lesson." "Alphason, come on dude. You aren't teaching her any lessons. We are doing it together. Or do you seem to be connected to her?" Marshall asked. "No, at all. I haven't forgotten I have a girlfriend. We got a new s*x manual and we are just on the first page." "So you sure have a long way to go." Marshall giggle. Marshall didn't believe Alphason will be able to stick this long with Kay. She useful uses her witch power to scare him anytime he tries to end their relationship. So if Kay gets to find out Darla is hanging out with her boyfriend, Alphason, She will sure make Darla weep like a baby. "Aright guys. I guess we have to call it day. I will you all next Monday and don't forget we have the Wood Academy induction and you know how we do it..." "try to get a scapegoat who has no wolf and make her life miserable all year long!" Alphason and Marshall chorused. "That is correct. So it goodbye." They waved at each other as they left the class Friday. **** Darla's POV **On Monday Morning** I had just arrived at school the next week after a short one-week break, which is traditional for all fresh students. As I pulled off my seat belt knowing we had reached the academy main gate. "Welcome to Wood Academy, Miss Darla,” the Academy school bus driver said. " You were dozing off in the bus on the way to school. I hope you will not be sleeping all day in school." "I didn't expect anyone to begin my day with an insult." Usually, it is reasonable to take a little on a long journey and that was basically what I did. I know their people who enjoy their trip and don't blink an eyelid over a far journey but I am that kind. "That was not an insult, Darla," Moreno said to me. "Moreno I know what I am saying." "Anyway, that is by the way. hope you enjoyed the short holiday?" "Yeah. why not. I did." "Are you afraid?" "Afraid? Why should I be? Is anything the issue?" "Nothing really, but I usually freak out when it is the Academy's induction for new students." "Okay, what about that?" "That's the day. A lot of friends get to mate. It is saddening because your old friends can become your worst enemy." "I don't get you, Moreno. make me understand your point? " I mean I am sacred you will find your mate today and it will be the last day I will ever have a chat with you or even smile at you and you smell at me." "Who says I am finding my mate today? I am here to learn and for your information, this is a school. What are you thinking dude?" "I know...but...." Moreno stuttering "Don't worry Moreno, whatever happens, you will always be my friend and that is on period." More than a friend was what Moreno wanted from Darla but Julian hates it that she usually has a chat with Aiden the pack prince and Prince Aiden always busllhsit her whenever she tried to get his attention. "Did you hear from Julain during the holiday?" Moreno asked. "I was going to ask you about her. We had chat before we went home for the holiday but while I was home I tried to reach out. She never picked and I was sure it rang." "Did you leave her a text?" "I did and until now, no reply." "Perhaps she lost her phone or something. why will Julian not want to talk to you? Atleast I am sure you never had a fight or did you? "No, we didn't." "You don't need to worry. we are in school now and I will ask her. Alright, thanks. Moreno." "I guess it is so much you don't know about this academy yet, but then I can help you. You will find the school brochure in the pocket in front of you. In case you have any questions.” The driver said. He sounded like he was doing me a favor. Apart from me wanting to snap at him. What is he trying to do? Please me? He should have known that such a brochure is better to read when you had just started a trip, not at the end of it. Trying to offer their passenger their reading material at the end of their long-ass journey was absurd. I was fighting my mind not to insult him. As Moreno liked to remind me, his attitude was draining on my emotions. We drove into the Wood Academy. I had just got downward my bag when a woman appeared in front of me. She wore a gown that passed her knee but the top exposes her bo. obs. That wasn't decency to me. "Alphason, Arras, and Mashall. Welcome, Miss Darla. she has just missed her orientation exercise but she still has her fate to be decided with the omega trail." I stare at the same guy who wanted to beat me for not wanting to apologize to him when I knew I have done nothing wrong. What do I have to do with the Omega trial? But anything these guys threw at me would be pale compared to the way the Silvercrest ruled our pack. “I just dropped off my bag and be back,” I told her, then swallowed hard as Arras black eyes fixed on me. “But, whatever. I’m here. Ready for the omega trial.” Whatever the hell that is…
