Ridge POV I didn't sleep last night; all I could think about was how badly I stuffed up. I have no excuses. Nil. None. The place we were staying at didn't have the same security, and the gaggle of women and a few guys made it to our floor. I was half asleep when the woman dropped onto my lap and started to grind against me. At first, I thought it was Robynne, and let her kiss me, but the kiss felt wrong, and I sat pushing the woman off me, but it was too late, that kiss had caused my mate pain, and she was quick in showing me how much. I will never forget the pain I felt, and then the emptiness, when my wolf left me, as well as Robynne. Dragging myself through my morning routine, I found the breakfast tasteless. No one spoke; we ate and left, as if what happened had hurt my brother
