The Raid

"And how did you find out all of this?"
"When Perseus became emperor, he made me a troop leader. I served him for 200 years before handing over my letter of resignation."
"But why?"
"All that I could see in Perseus' eyes was murder. He wanted to clean out the entire planet and start his own civilization. As soon as I resigned I sought to find Uzinouph and pledged my loyalty to him. He gifted me the chance to be his advisor."
"Wait. Are you sure what you are telling me is real?"
"All of it is true."
"So you mean to tell me that Perseus... that son of a..."
"My prince. You need to keep your cool. Follow me and I will show you where those who pledge allegiance to your father are held captive."
He opened a portal behind him and put his arms out to spread it and make it larger. I could see some men, women and even children working in a mine. I got bitter and I could not just stand there and watch my kind being tormented. I rubbed my fingers together, as if I was squishing a bug, and summoned the skull of the Pantheris that acted as my helmet.
"Tell my father I will not be home for dinner."
I put the skull on my head and walked through the portal. It began to consume part of my face slowly and I could feel it bind with my skin. I never liked this feeling since I always lost control of myself afterwards. It amplified my emotions for some reason and my emotions would always lead to my actions. Every time I had it on I could fly and I left out a demon blast. People were looking up to see what was passing. They could hear screams and wails that the skull produced. I landed at the center of the mine and stood on top of a statue that resembled who I thought was Perseus. The slaves dropped their hammers and chisels and stood up facing me. The guards began hitting them one by one trying to get them to get back to work. This made me rage and the skull consumed more and more of my face. I could not feel anything anymore. I had lost control again and I was about to do things I would term as unimaginable. It was as if I was playing a game in first person only that this time I was the avatar and the skull was the gamer on the couch. I could see the unleashed beast in me feast on one of the guards who was whining like a little girl. When the other guards came to help, I flew away even faster than I got there. I was almost back to the zone where I could open a portal but then I bumped into somebody.
"Perdivacx? Is that you?"
I just flew up and left her back there. She seemed familiar but I could not quite put my finger on who she was. I got to the zone and made an unstable portal that crossed the time wrap and space altogether. When I went through, I could see short scenes flashing before my eyes and I could feel the pain that my kind had gone through in Actinium. I struggled to fight off my clogged thoughts and the skull of the Pantheris detached itself from my face. I was back to my senses and I could see Eridanus waiting for me on the other side. I went onward and through the portal that closed behind me.
"Do you believe me now Perdivacx?"
"I... I... slaves and... suffering and... Perseus... I saw it all."
I sat on the bed and put my 'helmet' next to me and it put itself up on the wall. I had already begun tearing up.
"That is why you should help your father fight this war. It is so important to him."
"Tell the troops to be ready before tomorrow night. I declare war!"
"Actually, your father already did the whole 'declaring a war thing'."
"Okay... hmm... I declare the raid!"
"He also did the whole raid thing."
"Eridanus! You know what, just leave."
"As you wish."

"I hope everyone is ready. I need you at your A game. We'll scout the castle from the forest next to it. Do not attack unless attacked. Are we clear?"
Canis' son tryed to rally the troops but no one responded to anything he said. I arrived at the base and everyone gave the salute-scream.
"Now that Malzof is done giving you instructions, I hope you are ready."
"Sir yes, sir!"
"Only one rule, Have fun!"
I opened the portal and they all went through it screaming. I put on the skull of the Pantheris because I really wanted revenge. I went through the portal and appeared where the rest of the troop was. I jumped over the little shrubs and went closer to the Castle. I tried using my x-ray vision to survey the inside but no one was home. Wait a minute... I could hear a feminine voice singing. The melody was just timeless. For a moment, just a split second, the skull was not in control so I walked to the side of the castle that the voice was coming from. I slid the window and it all just stopped. My head began aching again and the skull took over. I saw something black dash before my eyes, then an eyeball that had a lengthy snake-like black body. Then everything turned black for a few seconds and the next thing I knew, I was on the ground. When I regained my vision, I could see a female in front of me.
"What are you doing here?"
