The cars rolled to a stop.
Jax and Luciano stepped out together, the familiar weight of home settling over them.
They walked inside in silence, climbed the stairs side by side, and entered their room.
Luciano finally exhaled.
“lets go freshen up,” he said softly, fingers brushing Jax’s sleeve. “We’ve had enough for one night.”
