Chloe’s pov Every eye in the ballroom turned to me the second I walked through the door. Gold light spilled across a crowd three times the size of anything I'd seen since arriving at Red Moon, musicians tuning near the far wall, the smell of roasted meat and candle wax thick enough to taste.
