He helped me peel off my dirt-smudged dress, handing me one of his clean, oversized cotton shirts to sleep in. I slid under the thick, heavy quilts, pulling them up to my chin. The mattress dipped as Nash climbed in beside me, fully clothed, settling on top of the sheets. He pulled me against his side, his strong arm wrapping around my waist, tucking my head securely into the crook of his neck.
