It was late afternoon when they arrived in Farim. The town was similar to Saripa. The main road led them through a marketplace where people gathered to look at the many wares on display and a busy harbour sprawled to one side of the market. They continued through the market, too exhausted to stop. Towards one edge of the town was the Arena where there were two blacksmiths and a tavern outside the walls. The sound of hammer against metal rang out from the blacksmith, while laughter and raised voices competed with each other in the tavern. “Anyone hungry?” Edwin pointed towards the tavern. “I’m starved.” He hurried inside, not bothering to see if anyone else was joining him.
