A loud clanging bell interrupted Shen’s sleep. Around him in the male visitors’ dormitory, people stumbled from their beds. There were twelve beds in each room and not a single bed in Shen’s dorm room was empty. Not knowing what the alarm was for, Shen dragged his backpack from under his bed and rapidly rolled up his bedroll he’d put on the bed. “What’s going on out there?” Edwin stumbled around the room as he grabbed his own gear. “What’s wrong with letting us sleep?” “Something must be happening.
