I opened my eyes and found myself being helped out of the car by Dad and Margret. Apparently I had nodded off after a few so many hours on the road, luckily I wasn't the one driving. It was evening, The sun had set giving the sky a reddish orange hue. It quickly occurred to me that I wasn't sober enough to walk on my own. I was placed on the bed carefully while Margret took off my shoes and my socks before taking off my jacket. My eyes cleared enough to notice that I was in my old room. Nothing changed, everything remained right where I'd left it. The burnt wood tone made it warm and a bit dark. Bright colors and patterns weren't exactly my cup of tea.
