It was in the middle of the night when Julie and Mike's house alarm went off, and they knew without a doubt that it was not just a robbery but an operation to eliminate them.

They had been living in fear since Mike was shot on the arm a few months back.

For the past two weeks, there had been a strange car following them wherever they went, but they could not tell the police because they knew people who were after them had connections everywhere.

And now that they were in their yard, it was just a matter of time before they managed to enter the house. ln, that moment Julie knew that she had to save her daughter.

"Enala, enala honey, you need to wake up we don't have much time." she pleaded to her ten years old daughter.

"mummy is that you? Why are you waking me up this time? I want to go back to sleep."

"yes honey it's me, I am waking you up because I want to play a game with you."

"what game mummy and why can't we just play it tomorrow?" her lovely daughter asked.

"Because this game has to be played this time my darling, please wake up so that we can play and then go back to sleep."

"okay but we will only play for a few minutes and then I will come back to sleep." her daughter said,

"sure, sure honey now let's go," Julie lifted her daughter and hid her in the closet and told her not say anything no matter what she saw.

Just a few minutes after she finished hiding her daughter, three men wearing masks entered the room dragging her husband.

"Please, please, leave my wife out of this she didn't do anything," pleaded her husband,

"but she married the guy who messed with wrong people," answered one of the men.

"What do you want money? my company? I will give you anything you want just don't harm my wife."

The men looked at him and laughed, "what makes you think the boss wants all of that from you?" the man holding him asked,

"that's what he wants, what other reason could he possibly have for wanting to kill me?"

"you know since you are dying, I will answer you so that you don't die without knowing the reason why you were killed," said one of the men, and then he continued.

"the boss doesn't like competition, you gave him one and when he warned you about not signing the deal with Tiger International, you didn't listen and went ahead and sighed it, so this is what you will get for not listening and your wife will also pay the price for your mistakes."

"tell him that I will give him anything he wants." he pleaded

"The boss only wants you and your family to die, by the way where is your daughter?"

"She has gone to spend the weekend, with my parents," Julie answered

"are you trying to fool us?" one of the men asked

"no, I am not lying, I am are supposed to pick her up tomorrow," Julie answered.

"Are you saying that even if we start searching every corner of this house we won't find her?" one of the men asked,

"If you think I am lying then go ahead and search," she answered.

The men looked at her suspiciously until the one who seemed impatient spoke with a grin on his face."Well, she will miss out on the fun,"

he said.

The moment he stopped saying that, he took calculated steps towards Julie like a lion on its prey. he reached where she was standing and tore her nightgown, Julie realised a whimper but did not do anything thing.

"Don't touch my wife! leave her alone! lam going to kill you! let her go!" screamed her husband.

But those words did not stop the man, from yanking her panties off and pressing his member on her entrance.

during all this time Julie did not say a word as she had locked her eyes with her scared daughter who was watching through the hole of the closet. Julie was silently begging her not to say anything. her little daughter looked in her eyes as if telling her that she understands everything.

The men took turns assaulting her but she did not release any sound, not even when the men finished and one of them shot her husband in the head.

she just remained silent and continued looking at her daughter waiting for the bullet to enter her head and when it came she was ready to die knowing that she at least saved her beautiful girl.
