The remembrance
Xander’s lips curled up slyly and mischief glimmered into his eyes. Within a snap of a finger, he picked her up horizontally and walked into the water.
“Ah…” A scream escaped from her mouth. “Put me down… No… Don’t do it… I am scared of water… I can’t swim…”
But Xander turned deaf to her and walked further into the water. Abigail was so scared that she wrapped her arms around his neck tightly, her eyes shut tight.
Xander could feel her shuddering in his arms. An amusement spread in his eyes. He immediately put her down in the water, but she clung to him, “Don’t leave me, don’t leave me.” Her eyes were still closed.
“I won’t leave you. Open your eyes and look around.” He couldn’t help but laugh.
She hugged him even more tightly, “No… No… You will leave me
