Ellie's POV
"What is happening?" I asked Karyn as Dr. Byers rushed with his medical team towards the dungeons. We had just returned from a walk around the lake at Dreake.
"Daniel told me they brought a human here to question him." Karyn said. I saw Queen Brynn with the Coltranes' outside the dungeons.
"Queen Brynn, what is going on?"
"I really don't know but Ellie, John is back home only for tonight. Don't tell him I told you in case he wanted to surprise you." Queen Brynn smiled and looked down at my extending stomach. I'm almost three months along, but due to the rapid growth of Fae pregnancies it's hard to miss now.
"Thank you for telling me." I smiled, then almost hurled as Byers brought a body out of the dungeon. They had a sheet over it thankfully.
