Daniel's POV
"Are you nervous?" I asked Ellie, taking her hand.
"A little." She smiled thinly at me.
"Everything will be fine." I assured her as we waited on her name to be called.
It has been close to a month since John and the Starr brothers' left in search of Mr. Z. We've heard very little from them, though last night John called Ellie and they talked for some time. She hasn't told John about the baby yet and is planning to surprise him when he comes back. Ellie has stayed strong through it all, though I know she deeply misses her mate.
