Chapter 24: Confessions and Deceit
After several days the conartist that Rose spoke of came in person to meet with Bella after being amused by the interesting plan she proposed.
“It’s very nice to meet you, I’m Amanda. You must be Bella, the one I spoke with right?” She asked out of simple courtesy.
“Yes, thank you for coming all the way here from S city.” Bella answered with the same amount of courtesy she received.
“I probably shouldn’t be asking this… but are you really going to go through with this?” Amanda asked with seemingly good intentions despite being a con.
“Is the hest too big for you to handle? I heard you were the best in your job.” Bella disliked being questioned so she returned the favor by questioning the other person.
