I knew she was at Eagle's Nest before I even saw her.
The bond that f*****g bond that should've been dead for seven years pulled tight in my chest the second I crossed into the restricted zone. Like a hook under my ribs, dragging me toward her.
My wolf surged forward, desperate and eager. Mate. Our mate. She's here.
I shoved him down hard. "She's not ours. Not anymore."
But my feet kept walking. Following that pull like I was on a leash.
