My conversation with Ksenia a few days ago had me thinking about underestimating Landon. She hadn't done exactly what I asked, so there was still the possibility that he could kill me. Her potion would make sure that I didn't actually die but could take up to 3 days. That was long enough for them to think Landon won and for them to have his alpha ceremony. He hadn't taken over from his dad yet, but the challenge would require that his alpha ceremony take place within 24hrs of a successful challenge.
