I hated to admit it but I was still pining Todd's rejection a bit. Knowing that you have someone's full attention is intoxicating. He was smitten with me and his refusal to accept my rejection was a clear sign of that. I had another boy toy head over heels in love with me, but Todd was different because we also had the mate bond.
