Kendra's POV
I was still sitting in the café, my foot was tapping nervously beneath the table. There was the aroma of coffee in the room, but I did not really pay attention to it.
My head was spinning with all the feelings I had inside of me. I could not understand why I had accepted an invitation to meet Grace here.
One side of me wanted to not even mention Philip again but the other side of me realized that I couldn’t keep on hiding from it. The only issue was, I didn’t know how to approach it.
“Earth to Kendra.” Grace’s voice interrupted me. She moved her hand in front of my face and said something that made her chuckle. “Oh my, you look like you've seen a ghost.”
