Kelly paced around her apartment in nervousness while Xander chewed on his finger nails while staring into space. The tension was thick as they both waited for something. At the sound of the notification beep, she and Xander rushed towards the source of the beep. A laptop sat in the middle of the room like a golden statue in a museum.
Kelly paused. “Let’s take a deep breath,”
In sync, they breathed in and out together. She flexed her fingers dramatically and logged into her email to read the newly sent message. They read:
You have been selected to be among the first twenty who applied for the job of a personal assistant. Attached to the email is a copy of your invitation. Print out the copy and sign on it. Submit it on 1st of April at the first reception by 9:00 am prompt.”
