I followed Aiden outside to see a small parcel on the ground. My heart skipped a beat as he picked me up.
“Aiden…” I said, “I don’t think we should open it. We should just call the police.”
My tongue got heavier as I spoke. “Right?”
Something flickered in his eyes before he shook his head. “Don’t worry, everything goes through security and if this is what I think it is, then we might have a lead to find him.”
