THE UNDERESTIMATED LUNA

CHAPTER 15 : AURORA'S POV

I looked at the vampires , I was about to form a sentence when I heard this growl- I turned around and my eyes locked with Jeremiah. He growled again not breaking eye contact with me, I didn't feel afraid when he growled because I heard it before .  I broke eye contact with Jeremiah and turned back to my soup, the vampires left and whatever that growl meant , it worked.

A chair opposite mine was pulled back - Jeremiah sat on it ''morning ! '' I didn't look at him , just focused on my soup ''morning ! '' ''Are you afraid of me ?''  I looked up at him with disbelief ''not at all ! '' he stood up and came to sit next to me . I found nothing wrong with what he did so I didn't object '' can we be friends ?''  ''sure! '' I took a small note from my bag and took a pen out and wrote a small note , at the end of the note I said thank you - I wrote this note to Mika . ''You always show appreciation to the cook ?''  I looked at him and smiled ''the little appreciation we show could really change someone's life! ''  ''change someone's life from what ?''  ''Depression; loneliness; suicidal thoughts and your own mirror image! ''

He leaned in closer to me , he tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear -he was so close to me and I don't know why but I felt this deep connection between us!  ''have you ever felt that way ?''  his voice was so alluring ''personally no! have you ?''  ''just loneliness ! '' he examined me very closely -his dark blue eyes looking into my pine green eyes. ''Surely you should've had a girlfriend to keep you company'' just one ! ''  I nodded at him. 

                                                                    [ JEREMIAH'S POV ]

I sat really close to her , she was really contagious to me -her scent invading my senses ;her eyes penetrating through mine ''have you had any boyfriends ?''  ''now that I'm aware of ! ''  ''No-one approached you ?!'' ''in my previous school, I was always the outcast who knew things, saw things -so who would really approach me now?''  ''you would be surprised of how many want too ! ''  '' Why do you think about trees all the time ?''  oh shoot ! she caught on that ''you tell me ! ''

She looked in my eyes, tried reading them and then she stopped blinking and I was starting to get worried, she eventually looked down and smiled . She looked up again at me ''I cant read your mind but I did perceive a future event ! '' ''what did you see ?''  ''that one day I'll be able to read your mind ! ''

Did her psychic ability let her see that we mates ?!  the bell rang and she got up and walked to Mika and handed her the note. She walked back with a smile evident on her face '' you waiting for me ?''  ''yeah ! ''  ''okay ! ''

We walked in the corridor while talking , I spotted my Beta giving her dirty looks but she was so interested in our conversation that she didn't even notice. There was this group of vampires coming towards us so I grabbed her waist and pulled her into me , the vampires walked past and glared at me and I glared back. Once they walked away I noticed how she was looking at me , we were really close -my hand was around her waist and my other hand was intertwined with hers . '' Could you excuse me for a minute ? ''  I let go of my hand around her waist , she walked the other direction -did I just blow it , oh god I hope not !
