CHAPTER 18: JEREMIAH'S POV

I was in our pack house talking to my parents when I heard this scream , I ran out and shifted in my wolf form. Matt mind linked and I told him the forest near the falls. That voice sounded so familiar , I reached the falls and immediately sniffed the air -the Blood pack and Moon pack were present , they reached here before me meaning the girl who scream is connected to them. I ran in my wolf form and looked back , my pack followed. I came to a stop and looked at these 2 girls laying on the floor , the other 2 packs looked stunned to see my pack and I present .
[ AURORA'S POV]
I looked on the side of me , Kelly was laying there - I couldn't think straight . I crawled slowly to Kelly and held her hand , I begged her to get up , she couldn't die , she just couldn't . I looked up and I noticed 3 packs - the Moon pack; Blood pack and Silver Pack, my mother looked worried and so did everyone else. I looked at the ground -there was paraffin. ''ONE STEP FORWARD AND THEY'LL DIE ! '' he was going to burn us alive , I tried waking Kelly up but her eyes didn't open so I closed my eyes and tried using telepathy on her but to no avail , no response.

I looked at Jeff who was laughing at me , I noticed Jeremiah in the corner of my eye -he was getting ready to pounce, he was this big grey wolf, he jumped and Jeff turned around and almost killed Jeremiah but I saved Jeremiah just in time. I took my hands and spaced them apart -I brought my hands together and hit them against each other. Jeff fell to the ground and started gasping for air, Jeremiah shifted back to normal and ran to me ''this is embarrassing! '' ''not at all! '' Jeremiah turned around and grabbed Jeff by the throat- I don't know how Jeremiah sensed that because he was looking at me.

Jeff clawed Jeremiah but Jeremiah barely flinched , Jeff was strong but how strong was Jeremiah , I mean him holding Jeff in the air by his throat had to be quite hard . '' YOU MESSED WITH THE WRONG ALPHA JEFF! '' he knew who Jeff was but how ?! I heard this cracking sound coming from Jeff -Jeremiah dropped him to the ground and gave him one look before coming back to me , my eyelids started closing and all I heard was my brothers screaming for me.
[ JEREMIAH'S POV ]
Her parents; brothers and myself scream for her but there was no response . I picked her up and looked at her parents ''follow me !'' Her mother shifted to this white wolf and ran , I wouldn't be in wolf form so I wouldn't be fast but I would have some speed . I ran after her mother and reached their house , her mother opened up for me and I ran upstairs putting her in her room . I immediately mind linked my packs healers to come over.
