Sarah's POV~
Extremely Short Time skip: a few minutes later.
"Well, I'm going to make lunch. Are you guys allergic to anything?" I asked the 1D boys and Anna.
"No, not really. Only marshmallows." Harry replied and the other boys agreed.
"Aight." I said as I walked into the kitchen to cook up a big meal, mostly for the boys.
.
"Foods done!" I called and the boys, plus Niall, came running in, with Liam, Harry, Zayn, Anna, and Louis trailing behind.
I didn't even tell them what I made and they were already chowing down. I chuckled softly.
Well then.
I grabbed my plate full of food before walking into the living room to go eat with Anna.
"You ok?" I asked when I saw her eating her food slowly.
"Yeah, but I can't eat too fast." She replied after swallowing.
"Why?" I asked.
"Reasons." She replied, noticing that she didn't want to talk about it, so I let it go.
We sat there and ate in silence until we were both done.
I offered to take her plate, but she shook her head and walked past me.
"Tough crowd..." I muttered as I followed her into the kitchen...
... to find everyone laughing loudly, with flour all over them, the walls, the floor.
Just everywhere.
"What in the world happened!" I exclaimed.
"We were thinking of baking a cake... and then this happened." Luke replied and I sighed.
"Jesus." I replied before walking over to the sink and putting my plate in there.
"Go clean up, you guys. Its only 6 pm and you are already filthy!" I commanded as I pushed the four boys out of the kitchen towards the bathrooms.
Once I was sure they were clean, I went back into the kitchen to get the 1D boys to clean up as well.
"Go go go." I said as I ushered them towards the bathrooms as well.
"Sarah?" A voice said behind me and I whipped around to see Luke standing there with his hair all wet, not dried yet.
If I was still a fan, I'd say it would look hot.
But... ew.
"What is it?" I asked.
"I'm sorry." He said, looking down.
"About what. If I don't recall, there isn't anything to be sorry for." I replied, knowing full well what he was talking about. His head whipped up.
He knew I knew it.
"Why?" He asked softly.
"It wasn't your fault, that's why." I sighed softly. "Anyone could have fallen off the stage, its not your fault. You were just... overly excited."
"I guess. Shouldn't you go see Calum?" He asked.
"I guess I should." I sighed again.
Wow, I've been doing a lot of that lately.
"I'll wait for the boys to come out, you go see Calum." He said. I frowned, thinking it over before walking away.
"They better not be twice as dirty when I come back." I called back to him as I turned the corner.
I collided with someone, falling on my bum.
"Ow..." I muttered as I looked up to see who it was.
As a matter of fact, it was Calum.
And I can call this one majorly hot without being disgusted.
He had his signature shy smirk, his hair still wet and floppy, shirtless, showing off his abs. He was wearing long, baggy sweatpants and a towel over his shoulder, and some flip flops to top it all off.
Goddammit, he is so hot, you don't even know.
"Hey, sorry 'bout that." He smiled as he held his hand out at me, helping me up.
"Its ok Cal." I replied, smiling back.
"We're you looking for me?" He asked, looking slightly down at me with a barely existent frown.
God, just his gaze turns me to complete mush.
"Uh... yeh. Luke said I should come talk to you. I was gonna come later... but yeh." I replied, sounding like a complete i***t.
I was gifted with his his sweet, silly laugh in return.
I smiled softly.
"Well yeah. I actually did want to talk to you, but I forgot about what." He said, itching the back of his neck.
"I always wondered about something. Where did you learn how to actually play bass?" I asked curiously. He frowned slightly before taking my hand in his, and leading him towards his room.
Is it a secret or something so special that he has to tell me in private? I thought.
I snapped back to the present as I heard a door close.
He sat me beside him on his bed, as I turned to his curiously.
"Well... the boys think I had classes to learn how to play." He said and I nodded slowly, slightly frowning.
"I actually self taught myself how to play." He sighed softly.
"Oh." I replied.
"No one knows this. Not the boys, not the press. Can I trust you with this secret?" He asked softly and I put my hand over his, slightly patting it.
"Of course you can Cal." I replied.
"But why is it such a secret?" I asked, curious.
I'm always so curious, its laughable.
"Because, I don't think the boys think that if I taught myself to play, that I would be this good." He replied.
"Ooh." I said, understanding.
"Like how everyone was surprised when they found out I could play a bunch of instruments? Or like then they found out that I was in a fake band before?" I asked and he nodded vigorously.
"Exactly like that." He replied.
"Aight." I said, sighing slightly.
"Yeah..." He replied.
"Good boys are bad boys that haven't been caught." I said, laughing loudly, causing him to laugh along.
"Really!?! So unoriginal!" He laughed and I thumped him in the forehead.
"I'd like to see you do better!" I replied.
"Oh really now?" He said, smirking.
"Yes!" I replied, standing up, opening the door, and running out of the room, with Calum close on my tail.
I laughed loudly as I kept sliding through the halls, past people who looked majorly amused.
Slowly, but surely, I gained distance from Calum...
... until I collided with someone.
Sad face.
I looked over to see who I knocked over...
... to see Harry.
"So sorry man!" I exclaimed as I scrambled up off the floor, helping him up as well.
I keep colliding with people... wow.
"It's alright love." He replied as he walked past me, not saying another word.
"The guest rooms are down the hall to your right!" I called to him. He only put a hand up in reply.
Cold much.
I screamed out as I felt strong arms wrap around my waist and pick me up.
Clearly it was Calum.
"Calum! Oh my god! You don't do that to a person!" I yelled loudly.
"Is someone dying!" I heard Michael shout.
"No!" Someone shouted back.
"Then keep shouting!" Michael shouted and I laughed.
"Kay Calvin. You can put me down now." I said after a few seconds of just standing there.
"Alright." He says and he drops me. On my bum.
Well then.
"Well damn Cal. I meant to put me on my feet." I laughed as I stood up and brushed dust off my clothes.
I took out my phone to see if it was cracked, it wasn't, but I noticed that it was almost 9 pm.
I heard splashes coming from outside and I frowned.
The only thing outside that can make a splash is the-
"Those idiots!" I yelled as I ran out of the backyard into the pool area to find Zayn, Niall, Harry, Louis, Luke, Michael, and Ashton in the pool.
Liam and Anna were smart enough to stay inside.
As well as Calum, since he was with me.
I shivered slightly from the slowly dropping temperatures.
It was October after all.
Halloween to be exact.
My birthday...
"Get out of the water! It's too cold, you're going to get sick!" I shouted and they all turned to me.
"But it's only been a few minutes!" Michael whined.
"Ugh. Five minutes. That's it. Then you're all coming inside." I commanded as I whipped around and stormed back inside.
.
.
.
.
When the five minutes were up, I stood by the door and held out towels as they came in, shivering out of their skin.
"I told you so." I said as they wrapped the towels around themselves.
