Chapter 4

POINT OF VIEW OF KATERINA

"Hey don't you wake up?" Nikki shouts.

"How did you get in?"

"Your father let me in ... Are you ready for tonight?"

" For tonight?"

"Katy don't tell me you forgot, tonight is Joseph's birthday."

"Yes, of course I haven't forgotten."

Nikki and Joseph are my best friends. We have known each other since elementary school.

Nikki is my opposite. She has blonde hair, hazel eyes, a model body.

She is Solar, nice, if you have a problem she will always be available.

I, on the other hand, am closed, always on my own account, instead she managed to open me up. Joseph is a bad boy, blond, blue eyes, he has a nice body, he box, all the girls want him, maybe for this reason he doesn't have a serious relationship. Nikki studies design, while Joseph works as a lawyer.

Even though Joseph is older at 24, Nikki is my age, we always get along well.

"Come on, get ready we have to buy some clothes for tonight."

I nod. I'm going to get ready, after a 10-minute shower and choosing the clothes: a skirt and a lace t-shirt. Nikki takes me by the hand running down the stairs, we say goodbye to my father and go out.

"You know Kat, do you remember Brain?" Nik takes me by the hand suddenly.

" Yes."

"Yesterday we got together."

"Wow, in two months, you caught him."

"Katerina !!!"

" I was joking."

We go into the first shop, and take a look but we don't like any clothes.

"What bad clothes." my friend comments as she leaves the shop.

The same thing happens in the second shop, also in the third, fourth, fifth. We enter the sixth shop, here already are beautiful dresses, after trying 5 dresses, I chose, a blue dress with draining behind, then the sleeves are pinch and completing with black heels. Instead Nikki chose a short red dress in front and longer in back, silver heels. After shopping, return home.

" I'll call you later."

"Sure Nik, we'll talk."

I walk into the house and see my father watching TV.

"Papiii."

"Princess, you are back, if you didn't come back soon I would call the police." looking at me jokingly.

"What did you buy for yourself?"

"Surprise!" I answer, heading into the room.
