"The VIP Alpha," Willow said softly. "The one who fathered one of your twins. It wasn't just any alpha, Luna. It was King Blade himself."
I shook my head violently. "No. That's not possible. The VIP Alpha was just some high-ranking wolf passing through. He—" I stopped as fragments of memory from that night flashed through my mind. The commanding presence. The unusual golden eyes. The way the other wolves had deferred to him.
"Oh goddess," I breathed, sliding down into a chair. "It was him."
"Yes," Willow confirmed. "And he knows it now. He's known since the moment Crystal left his territory knowing she wasn't carrying his scent and his child."
"But he rejected me!" I cried. "He sent me away!"
"He didn't know at that time you," Willow said. "He was under Crystal spell."
