Hope shuddered as she sat in the living room next to Everly. Both girls were grasping mugs of warm coffee in their hands. Finn watched Hope, his eyes never leaving her face, reassuring himself that she was there, and she was safe. He watched her raise her mug and sip the hot liquid, the steam blowing in her face. She closed her eyes against the hot steam and hummed softly with satisfaction. "You shouldn’t have come back," Hope said softly as she looked up to meet Finn's eyes. Marl stood to the side of the room, surveying the occupants, occasionally letting his eyes go to the lone window in the back of the kitchen.
