Alexander walked into his father’s office, Gavin close on his heels. They knocked lightly on the door before opening it and walking in to the office to sit in the chairs behind their father’s desk. The man behind the desk was reading a paper and upon seeing his sons, finished the summary he had been given before he took off his glasses and glanced up at his boys. He set his glasses down on the table. He eyed them curiously before he sat back in his chair and gestured for them to proceed.
“Did you meet them?” Alexander said without preamble.
The man nodded.
“And what did you think?” Alexander asked, leaning forward in his chair, resting his arms against his knees.
“The dark haired one, she didn’t say much. She is your mate, you say?” the man said, raising an eyebrow at his son.
