'I have something to tell you,' Francesca said warily as she linked with Gavin. 'What is it, love?' he asked. 'You're not going to like it,' Francesca said. She didn't want to tell him right away. She was watching Hope run to the gate. She paused in her conversation with Gavin as she watched the gate open and Hope slipped through, turning to hold her hand up in farewell to Francesca as she went. Francesca waved back before turning to head back inside the castle. She was perfectly happy hiding within the large, imposing, stone walls. She didn't feel at all claustrophobic in the safety of the compound. She finally felt the trace of happiness finding its way into her soul. She smiled as she looked up at the building before she made her way back toward the wing where she and Gavin stayed.
