Adelina Cortez's POV
"Kane," I said with a smile. "Yeah?" He questioned. "You're crushing me," I told him with a laugh. He chuckled and scooted off of my body. "Sorry. Let's get dressed and get out of here," he suggested and I nodded.
"Sounds good," I whispered, pulling my clothes back on my body. After we both dressed ourselves, I stood there, admiring him. His shirt was hugging his body perfectly. I then noticed the bags under his eyes.
"You haven't been sleeping?" I asked softly. "No, I've been preoccupied," he said and I raised my eyebrows. "Not like that," he said with an eye roll.
"I've been trying to rebuild a case against Dante. Since Andrew has done this, it'll help, but I can't feel like something is going to go wrong," he said softly.
