Just The Two Of Us~. [Jungkook ShortStory]

Some days have passed by, Amber had been so stressed in work. She works at a publicity company, that's what she studied, and the only escape she has from work is at Lunch and when she gets home. Everyday at Lunch Jungkook and her meet at a restaurant for eating together.

"Jung-Ah" -Amber said through the phone as he picked up- "Ain't you coming for eating?" -She asked-

"Something came up, i'm sorry" -He apologized-

"Oh ok" -She said-"See you at home"

"Bye, Love you" -He said-

"You too" -She replied and hang up-

"Aint he coming?" -Her workmate Lisa asked her, who was sitting next to her-

-She nodded no- "It has been the third time this week" -She muttered-

"The same as always, ladies?" -The Waitress asked them with a smile-

-Lisa nodded yes, while Amber nodded no-

"What would you order mrs.?" -The waitress asked her-

"I want Shrimps Pasta" -She said smiling big-

They had a special meal for each day of the week, that's why the waitress asked if the same as always.

Half an hour passed and the food arrived. They were talking and eating, and not yet Amber were done eating, when she had to rush to the bathroom. She threw up everything she had just ate, and when she looked herself in the mirror her face was swollen up. She rushed back out to her desk, payed for the meal and grabbed Lisa for rushing to the hospital.

Since they started driving on their way to the Hospital she was dialing Jungkooks' phone, and nothing. As soon as they reached the Emergency zone, they rushed to the general doctor who was there.

"Can you go with her right away?" -Lissa asked as they saw him-

"You should wait your turn"

"WHAT f*****g TURN WILL I WAIT? SHE JUST MADE AN ALLERGY TO WHAT SHE JUST ATE!" -Lisa yelled-

"Mrs, Pl-" -The doctor started saying but Lisa interrupted-

"SHE'S f*****g PREGNANT" -Lisa said desperate-

-He called another doctor and told him to attend the other people were waiting. He took them to a stretcher for laying her down.

"What did you eat?" -The doctor asked-

"Shrimps" -Amber replied, shaky-

"Didn't you know you were allergic to that?" -He asked-

"Such an illogical question. Do you think that if she knew it she would've eaten it" -Lissa asked looking at him with a straight face-

"Chill" -Amber told her grabbing her hand- "I used to eat it before, i don't understand why it put me like that now"

"Maybe they prepared it with something else you're allergic to, or maybe as you're pregnant and the organism changes almost completely, now you have that reaction to shrimp." -The doctor said-

He called a nurse and indicated something for them to put her on a drop. What they put her, made her fall asleep.

It is more than 12 pm and Jungkook just got home. Today was even more stressful than the past days. He was tired, his full body and head hurts. He entered home slowly for not waking Amber up. He went to the kitchen, grabbed a bottle of water, and walked inside the room. He noticed Amber was not at bed, so he looked inside the bathroom and she was not there either. He did an confused gesture and took his phone out of his back pocket, he pressed the enter key and the phone was dead. He plugged the charger, and as soon as it turned on, he called her.

"Hello?"-Somebody but his girlfriend picked up-

"Where's Amber?"- He asked-

"Is it her husband?"

"Y-yes"-He replied. "Where's she?"

"She's sleeping Sir,"

"Sleeping?"-He asked shocked- "Where?"-He asked at the same voice tone.

"She's at the hospital, sir"

Not yet the woman who picked up the phone said "Hospital" when he was already rushing down the stairs on his way to the parking lot. 5 minutes later he was already there. He got there sooner because of the time there was no traffic. He ran to the reception and ask the room his girlfriend was in. When he hit the 5th floor he opened the door and there she was, sleeping still. He got scared and looked back because he felt someone came inside the room.

"Are you with whom I just talked to?" -The nurse asked in the lower voice she could-

He nodded yes, and she signalized him to follow her. He did what he was asked to, and it was the doctor who wanted to meet him. They greeted and the doctor started telling him the situation.

"It's kinda delicated the situation your wife showed earlier. Hopefully the allergy is very calmed, but its yet to eliminate what's rest of what she ate inside her body. As she's pregnant it could've be worse, because it could've caused an abortion, as the first quarter is the most delicated" -The doctor said-

"Ho-How long has she been here?" -He asked shaky-

"Since around 2" - The doctor replied, and as jungkook heard that , he opened his eyes wide open. "But don't worry, hopefully tomorrow morning she will be leaving home" -The doctor said and Jungkook nodded-

"Thank you" -He said and bowed-

As the doctor left, Jungkook went back inside the room Amber was laid at. He sat on the couch and rested his head back. He was exhausted. He was working all day, with no resting at all.

He was with his eyes closed, not sleeping just resting them, because he was worried about Amber he can't conceive sleep. He felt his eyes heavy, so he opened them once again. He looked at the watch he has on his left wrist, and it was almost 5 am.

"It's almost beginning to get light" -He muttered. He looked at his right side and saw Amber sleeping still, he stood up and waked up to her for caressing her hand.

Next morning Amber and jungkook were coming back home. Jungkook called Jimin for him to drive Ambers' car home. In the whole way home Amber didn't say a word, and Jungkook was with his eyes all red. More than 24 hours with no sleeping, thanks God next day was Saturday.

When the got home Amber went straight to rest, as the doctor said, and Jungkook went right to take a shower.

When Jungkook came out of the bathroom, he dressed up in comfortable clothes, and laid next to his girlfriend. "Are you feeling better?"- He asked, and she replied with a dry "Yes"-

Since she woke up this morning he had been feeling her weird. He sat facing her and stared at her, who was with her eyes closed. "What's wrong with you?" he asked staring at her still.

"I'm mad at you"- She replied-

"Wow, how straightforward"- He said shocked at her reply.- "What did i do?"

She opened her eyes and sat facing him. "Yesterday was the third day this week you stood me up at lunchtime, yesterday i called you bunch of times when i was on my way to the hospital. His girlfriend who is carrying on his baby could've died, and where was jungkook? i don't know, he didn't pick up. Also you have been coming back home late at night, Are you cheating on me Jeon Jungkook?" -She looked at hims with an hurted expression-

When he heard that last phrase he looked at him with mouth wide open- "Did you heard what you just said? Are you serious?"- He asked still shocked.

"I don't know"- She shrugged- "You tell me. You've been skipping meals with me, come late at night, and we barely talk, because when i wake up you're already gone, and when you arrive home i'm already asleep." -She asked and her eyes watered.

"Are you out of your mind?"- He said as he noticed she was talking seriously- "Do you think that if i was cheating on you i would've asked you to marry me? Don't you know me well? how do you even dare to say something like that?"-He said with an mad expression-

"Dont answer my questions with other question, ok? Just answer"

"NO!"- He explode-"You wanna know why I'm coming home late? because i found another f*****g job, developing what i studied, so maybe your parents accept me, ok? Happy?" -he said and left the room slamming the room-

When Amber heard that she stayed shocked. Tears started falling. She wasn't expecting that answer. it shocked her to know that he was doing it just for her parents approval. Now she was feeling like s**t, for assuming before even asking.

Amber, after breathing heavily, walked slowly out of the room.

She saw Jungkook sitting on the couch with his head back nd eyes closed. She walked up to him, an stood onfront of him.

"Jung-ah"- she said with tears in her eyes and a shaky voice-

-He opened his eyes and looked at her, which were watered- "Why cant you understand me, Amber?" -He asked and in his voice noticed he was sad- "I wake up at 6 in the morning, and spend my entire day working, i come late night because i found another job so your parents would accept me. When i get home, tired as f**k i found out my girlfriend was at the hospital. I have more than 24 with not even a 5 minutes of sleep, and now you complaining at me and acussing me of cheating. Do you think its easy? Its not as easy as you think."

"Im sorry"-she said clearing his tears, while hers were falling- "You didnt have to look for another job just for my parents approval."

"Of course i had to. This wouldnt be a good relationship going one step foward, if your parents dislike me." -he said looking down to the floor-

"You may be right, but thats so much preassure you couldnt bear with" -She said looking at him worried, rubbing his cheek with her thumb.

-he said nothing-

"Let's go have some rest" -She told him giving him her hand for him to take it. He took it and they both walked inside the dorm.

~Next Monday~

Amber was working in her office, when she recieved a call from her boss. She was told she had an assignment for working on a publicity proyect for an artist, making his publicity in korea. It was to Jay Park, Therefore she would have to start meeting him for the proyect,as he is the CEO of an Independent hip-hop record label called AOMG, for some weeks since the proyect was done.

She was going to start right away, therefore she had to leave to the building where Mr. Park and her, were going to meet for the few weeks.

She waited for the elevator, and when it arrived she pressed number four and waited for it to get there. When it hit the floor she was going to, she walked to the secretary (or so) and asked for him, not before introducing herself. She told Amber to wait for him, because he hasnt arrived. She took a quick look to her watch, 11:05am. She said thanks to the secretary, and sat om the waiting room.

Meanwhile she was writting down some ideas she was thinking about, because of the little information her boss gave her.

An hour passed by, and nothing. It was already lunch time, and she was starving. But Mr. Park hasnt arrived yet.

She grabbed her phone and called Jungkook.

"Jung-ah" -She said as he picked up- "I cant meet you at lunch today, i have a meeting and it hasnt started yet."

"Its ok, love. I was about to call you to tell you i wont be able as well"

"Ok, see you at home, love" -She said-

"Love you"

"I do too" -She said and hung up-

Another hour passed by. Amber stood up and went to the woman once again.

"Excuse me, mrs., When is mr. Park coming?" -she asked-

" He got delayed because of some other meetings. He's almost here"

"Thnkyou"- she replied, and as soon as she turned around, she rolled her eyes-

When she sat back where she was, she took out a bag of oatmeal cookies. Took put one and started eating it. She was seriously starving.

2 hours more passed by. Almost 3 o'clock. When Amber stood up once again, for asking the secretary, she saw him coming.

"Mrs. he has just arrived" -She called Amber-

-Amber was mad as hell aready, and was still starving. She grabbed her stuff, and followed the secretary.

She walked inside the office, and mr.Park was already sitting behind his desk.

"So sorry i'm this late. But something came up" -He said as he saw her coming-

"You better be. Because im tired of being out there waiting, and im also starving." -Was everything came out of her mouth-

-He opened his eyes wide open, and chuckled-

"What's so funny?" -She asked- "For tomorrow and the other days coming, i need you to be responsible, and come on time. Because I have a lot of things to do. I'll apprecciate it"- she said woth an straight face-

-He was still shocked- "Do you know who you're talking to?"

"I know. And you know who you're working with also. So respect my time and i will respect yours'" -She said-

"Wow... attitude." - He said posting his elbows on his desk- "I like that"

"Lets do what we came for" -She said and started taking out her folder the information and some ideas she got for the publicity.- "Here are some ideas i got because of the information i got by now. Take a look at them and tell me what do you think" -She said giving it to him.

He grabbed it, and before looking at it, he chuckled.
