POV: Serenya Serenya bursts into the pack hall just before dawn. Her clothes are torn. Scratches cover her face and arms. Snow clings to her hair. She looks like she barely survived an attack. Which is exactly what she wants everyone to think. The guards at the door immediately move to help her. "Luna! What happened?" "Where is the Alpha?" Serenya gasps. Her voice is breathless, panicked. "I need to see him. Now." "He's in his chambers," one guard says. "But Luna, you're injured. Let us call the healer." "No," Serenya snaps. "Get the Alpha. Tell him it's urgent."
