[Araya's POV] Araya doesn't know how long she's been walking. Hours, maybe. Or days. Time has lost all meaning in the darkness of the forest. Her bare feet are torn and bleeding, cut by rocks and thorns she can't see in the shadows. Her white dress, once pristine for the trial, is now shredded and stained with blood and dirt. It clings to her body, heavy with sweat and rain that started falling sometime after she entered the woods. The pain in her chest where the bond was ripped away still burns, a constant reminder of what Jasper did.
