CHAPTER 5: Flashback ends

My Mom scolded me for dissapearing for too long and I spared no time to explain. After her scoldings, I go back straight to my room and immediately look at the file she send me. The investigator that I asked for help is alo one of my closest friend and she's good at getting information.

Name: Gavin Kang

Age: 21 years old

Mother: Gabriella Lauren

Father: Jayson Kang

After reading the upper part, I close my eyes and lay my back on my swivel chair.

So he's a half-korean? No doubt, his skin looks so smooth, soft and pale. I can't help but to imagine how it feels like to touch his face.

I continue to read his info. Hindi ko mapigilang makakunot ang mata ng makita ang word na "Home-schooling".

I immediately called my friend to ask about this. After 3 rings, she answered my call.

"Hey, have you recieve the file?" she asked.

"Mm, do you know why he's homeschooling since elementary till highschool?" I asked curiously.

"It's actually hard to find out the main reason because his family sealed the reason why he's been homeschooling eversince elementary. But I heard that, that guy is sick" she answered seriously.

"Sick?" I repeated in lowly voice as if I can't believe it.

Nakaramdam ako ng matinding gulat sa nalaman ko pero mabilis ko rin iyong isinantabi bago muling nagsalita.

"Continue to find out the reason as soon as possible." I ended the call after that.

I closed my eyes again and think about him again. I just stop when I felt my phone vibrated.

I saw that it's Zephanie. Did she find out the reason already? It's just a few seconds since call ended.

I immediately open and read it.

'So you're inlove huh?' --- Zephanie

I immediately frown because of her text.

I just ignored it and was planning to sleep already when an idea suddenly came on my mind.

I dialed tbe number and called.

"Miss Eloise, what can I do for you?" A male voice said with respect.

"I want you to investigate someone for me."

He became silence for a few seconds like he was shock before answering.

"May I know who is it?" I could feel his curiosity.

"Gavin Kang"

I heard him gasped before answering. "Isn't it the only son of Jayson Kang? M-miss, do you know how secured their house is?"

"Can you do it or not?" I asked with a frown.

"O-of course, yes Miss."

"Good. Don't forget to send me his photos and his address and I immediately want to know the University he's attending to."

"Yes Miss, I'll start investigating early in the morning"

"I'll transfer the payment to you right now." I said and hung up right away.

I take a shower and immediately go to sleep. When I closed my eyes, all I could think of is his smiling face and his angelic laugh. I don't know if I should regret that I didn't confront him earlier that's why all I can do now is regret.

I didn't know what time did I fell off to sleep. I just got awaken when I heard the continous knock on the door.

"Miss, Madam asked me to wake you up already. They're waiting for you downstairs for breakfast."

It's already 9 am and I know that Mom and Dad are waiting for me downstairs so we can eat together.

After I finish my morning routine and walked downstairs and eat with my family. Dad asked so many things that is connected on my studies while mom scolds me again because of the troubles I made in my school. Grandpa isn't here, maybe he's on my grandma's graveyard. That's where he's always at when it's weekend.

I'm only here at home on weekends. I actually stay on my condo near the University when it's weekdays. I like it mote there since it's quiet and I'm only alone there. No one's gonna disturb my peaceful life, except if Maisie are there.

After breakfast, I go back to my room to change my clothes. I plan to go to the race track to get news on what happened on last night's race.

I rode my MV Agusta F4 Claudio motor and drove it to the race track. I immediately saw Alex sitting on his bike while smoking. I stop my motor beside Alex.

"Woah!"

"So hot as always!" I saw him smirked at me while eyeing me jokingly.

"What happened last night?"

"Of course, I win. Nothing new." He said so proudly.

"Really?" I raised my brow at him and said sarcastically.

He pouted. He knows that he can only be the winner If I'm not there coz I always win when it comes to motorcycle racing.

"Well, congrats. Drinks is on me tonight." O said while putting my helmet on my head.

I heard them screaming and whistling on happiness.

"Let's see each other at Overnight's Bar tonight" After that, I speed off to our house.

I enter my room and spend my time playing video games.

Time runs fast without me noticing it. I felt my phones continously vibrating ang notice that It's already 6pm in the evening and when I saw that the investigator that I hired is calling, I immediately answered it.

"Miss, I'm infront of your house. I already have the information."

"Mm." I hung up the call and walked downstairs.

When I got outside the house, I saw him leaning on his car but immediately stand traight when he saw me.

"This is the informations that you want."

He handed me the brown envelope and when I look what's inside I frowned. I look at him seriously and lend my hand as if asking for something.

He look at me with confusion that makes me more annoyed.

"Photos" I said trying not to get irritated.

"O-oh. Yes, yes. The photos!" He said panickly and ran to his car again and pulled out something.

When he came back, he lend me a small envelope. "Here. This is the photos that I captured earlier."

When I opened it, I unnoticeably smiled looking at his stolen photos.

I looked t some of them. I saw him eating, reading, watching tv, playing with dog and studying. All of them are so cute that I can't help but smile too.

I didn't notice that I was so focus on looking at all of it that I forgot that there's a person infront of me. I only stop when I heard him clear his throat, catching my attention.

My smile immediately fades away and pulled the photos back on the envelope.

"Goodjob for today. You may leave now." I said ang turned my back on him.

I was about to enter our gate when he suddenly stop me. "W-wait Miss! I have an important news to tell you."

I looked back at him as if asking him what is it.

"Gavin Kang have encountered some trouble when he sneaked to go outside the house yesterday."

Sneaked? Why would he sneak outside the house?

"What kind of trouble?"

"Some group of guys bullied him and what to take some valuable things he have. It's good that I'm there or else I don't know what will happen to him."

"Then what are you worrying about?"

"It looks like the group of guys yesterday have been planning to get revenge of getting beaten up."

I sneered sarcastically.

"Why can't they just put their revenge on you? Ah, such an idiots."

I saw his mouth in shock like telling me, is-this-really-my-Boss?

"Send me the list of their names. I'll take care of it. Just continue your inverstigation." I said as I turned my back.

The investigator look at her while shaking his head and whisper.

"Why do I feel like she treats me like a tool for her stalking. She should be the one who's doing the stalking herself!"

I came back to reality when someone tapped my shoulder. When I look up, I saw his angelic face.

I heard him asked. "H-hey, are you okay?"

I unconsciously pulled his neck closer to my face. His eyes widened in shocked and was about to fall on me but manage to keep himself steady.

"Y-you. What are you doing?" he asked with a low voice.

I blinked my eyes and realized what I have done.

"You better not get close to me if you still haven't answered what I've said to you." I said with a blank face and stand up to leave the gym.

I actually still have one class but after what happened earlier, I changed my mind.

I go to the place where I alwayd go at when I'm bored. It's also in the University. It's in the side part of the building, a small room under the stairs.

No one's around the place since the building where it's build is only a storage room where broken things like chairs, table, etc have been storage there.

Also there two stairs, left and right. The right part is the common stairs they used when some people go to storage room. This small room was located at the left side stairs so there's really no one here.

I opened the door and a small broom cabinet with some spider webs and some dust greeted me. If some people accidentally got here, they'll most likely go out immediately.

There's a hidden door at the side of the cabinet, when I opened it, an aesthetic room greeted me.

A small bed, a small fridge and some necessary things are there.

I lay on the bed and plan to sleep till the class is over. I'll just ask Reese to send my bag here. Only me, Maisie and Reese knows this place.

Reese also has a place like this, but it was located on the back part of the University. There's a small alley there and when you go straight their and turned right, you'll see a room there that looks like abondoned. But inside, it's a gothic style room.

Me and Reese are the same when it comes to many things.

She may be look like a normal teenager but her life, is really so different than normal.

I just shake my head when I recalled her story.

I'll just sleep.
