I was still trying to make out what she is saying by following the sequence of her lips when I started hearing my name from afar. The voice calling me wasn’t audible at first but became clear after each call. Immediately, I started hearing my name, Maya vision I was seeing became more clouded until she finally disappear from my view completely.

Have been here for the past 4 hours. I saw you sleeping when I came in but I didn’t want to wake you up. When I decide to check on you now. I discover that you are burning up and even sweating profusely while the AC is turned on.

Jay said after I finally wake up. While shaking me gently. Have even been calling your name for almost a minute now but you didn’t budge until I decide to apply little physical help. What happened to you?

I watched him rant but am less concerned about whatever he is saying. Am more concerned about the dream with Maya. What does that mean? Is she passing a message to me? What could she be saying? Or is she dead? No no no, I shouldn’t imagine such a thing. She isn’t dead I assured myself.

I saw Maya. I busted out after looking at him sitting anxiously for what I want to say for about two minutes. Have known Jay since I was a kid. In a situation like this, even if it take you an hour to open up. Jay would never push you to say anything until you are ready, no matter how impatient he might be.

Where do you see her? He asked innocently. In my dream. I replied. But, you sound as if you see a in real life. It normal to see her in your dream. I am certain she is the one you have been thinking about before going to sleep. He explained.

Yeah, it normal to see her in my dream. In fact, I usually dream about her whenever I sleep but this time, it different. It feels so real. It like she is passing a message to me. I catechized. What the dream? He asked.

She suddenly appeared from nowhere, illuminate the darkness that surround me. She look much like a princess with her long peach gown decorated with golden stones. She wore a crown golden crown with the word "ESFORZARSE" inscribed on it. She was mumbling something to me which am still trying to make out before you wake me up. I narrated.

What is esforzarse? He asked. I didn’t know. I replied. He paused for a few moments before continue as if he is trying to get his thought together.

I think…. He paused trying to see my reaction. You think what? I asked impatiently after he kept silent for a few moments. Don’t take this to heart but it just my intuition.

If actually she was kidn*pped. The kidnappers ought to have find a way to contact you since she doesn’t have family member that can be contacted. It not possible they contact her father in prison. Or do you that possible?

No, I don’t think so. They will only contact a free person that can get them the money not a person whose freedom is limited. I replied in support of him.

If it an accident, the people in the bus and her would have rushed to the hospital and the hospital management would have find a way to contact you.

But, nothing happened. Let be reasonable here, Ola. Don’t you think it possible she might be dead. He said looking down.

What nonsense? I shouted at him. How can you of all people think she is dead. Why are you people wishing her dead? I asked accusingly. First is the police officer and now you.

Why are you accusing me of such? You know I can never wish her such but let be realistic. It almost a month since the incident. Which kidnapper will keep their captive in custody for such a long period of time without even making an attempt to contact her family member and demand for ransom.

If they were involved in an accident the people she mentioned would have find a way to contact their family member, rushed them to the hospital or report to the police station.

Another angle I think it could be is that those people were the perpetrators of the incident. They might be kidnappers but not those that demands for ransom but rather sell them off into s*****y oversea.

You can never rule out the possibility of them being a cannibal or those that sell human body part.

You should also know that when you see someone like that in your dream. It means they are already with the Lord. Due to the way she dressed. She was never a queen in this life. I don’t want to say this before but you have to snap out of it. You are losing yourself. Your life is drifting away from you slowly. He concluded.

I am not in any way believing that she is dead. Don’t try to even convince me. Don’t even attempt to. I said warningly. Let me just shower and get some d**g to wade off this headache that started building up in me due to the nonsense you just spit out. Then, we have to find what ENFORZARSE means. That word is just registered in my head. It refused to leave. I said to him before heading to the bathroom.
