*Johnny* To reduce the chances of being spotted, I know I should be waiting in the mews, but I want to ensure Scar encounters no trouble on her way to meet me. While the streets are mainly deserted of traffic, people are still wandering around, either going to or leaving the nearby pub. Therefore, I am standing with a shoulder pressed against the bookshop wall that faces a side street. From my vantage point, I have a clear view of the hotel.
