Ava’s pov
Those words pierce through my heart like a knife that was painfully stabbed into my heart. I don’t expect people to use me being wolfless to insult me because i didn’t choose to be wolfless but since some people in the pack still use it to insult me, i have gotten use to it because it’s like people can’t come up with a better insult than that but that is the last thing I expected my own sister to use against me, my twin sister just called me mateless.
At this point I don’t even know if it’s the fact that she saw me in Cane’s office or they is something else that I don’t know about and she is not telling me. Being mateless can’t even be compared to being called wolfless. I feel tears already gathering in my eyes but I will not give her the satisfaction that she is looking for.
