Everything felt like it was moving in slow motion. Wolves tearing apart other wolves, a strike of lightening falling really near, it could almost blind you, the rain starting to fall heavily as if their Moon Goddess had decided to show mercy and save this Court from burning to ashes, and then between all of this chaos, Alina’s eyes could still see him there, in the middle of the battle, the center of it just like he was the center of her world.
