KATE, SARAH, AND LOUISE began gluing the broken mirror pieces on. One by one, piece by piece, they talked about life and the moments they’d seen each other through. “I wish,” Kate said as she glued a piece on, “to be brave. To be the best version of myself—fearless and confident.” “You’re on your way,” Sarah said. “What do you wish for?” Kate asked Sarah.
