North

When he saw me, he waved for me to go over. As I walked over to him, I noticed the bike and the helmet had a bow on them. "What's going on, Leo?" I asked. "This is your bike," he answered. I passed my bike test a few days ago, but I didn't know that the triplets knew. "H-how did you know?" I asked, confused. "Unlike my brothers, I still consider you a friend and ally even if you hated us, North. We used to be best friends after all, " he answered. "Does your brothers know about this?" I asked, uncertain. "No, they don't, I didn't tell them. I wanted to do this for you. " "Why?" was all I could say, after how mean I had been to him. "Because you're still my friend even if you don't feel like it right now," he answered. "Thank you." I was shocked that after everything, he still wanted to be my friend. "Why are you so shocked?" Anna asks as if she was tired of this conversation. "I-I don't know, I want my friends back," I told her. "Then get them back and stop acting like an i***t," she mumbled, then went to sleep. "Thanks for the help, I guess," I sent through my link with her. "Everything ok?" Leo asked, confused. "Y-yeah, I'm ok. Let's just go home," I answered. He sent me a confused look but agreed. I put on my new helmet and got on my bike. Thankfully, the other triplets had already left to go home. As we arrived back home, Leo joined his brothers on the front porch. As I walked over to them, after taking my helmet off, I saw they were all nervous. All of a sudden, Hunter walked forward. "So, are you going to listen to what we have to say?" he asked. "Not out here, I'm not, let's go inside and then I'll listen to what you have to say," I said. As we walked inside, the triplets talked about my new bike and helmet and asked Leo questions about it. Some of the questions I caught them asking was if he thought buying me a bike would somehow change our relationship. In a way, it has. The boys don't seem to know this, though. I smiled to myself as we continued walking. "Guys, I'm right here," I said, walking behind them. Hunter and Calix looked at me as if I had grown a second head or something. "What? did I say something wrong?" I asked, confused. "No, you didn't," says Leo, looking at his brothers ready for a fight. "Sorry North," the other two triplets said, and I could tell that they meant it but didn't understand why they were apologising. "North, you need to talk to them at some point," Anna commented. "I know, Anna, it's just hard," I said back, not realising I said it aloud and the triplets heard me. "You ok North?" They all asked at once. "Y-yeah, I'm good," I replied as embarrassment hit me, and my cheeks turned pink. "I know you have a wolf, but Hunter and Calix dont," Leo said through mind link. I looked at him in shock, and he smiled. "L-lets, get this over with, shall we?" I asked, still looking at Leo. They agreed and followed me to one of the many meeting rooms in the packhouse. "So, where do you want to start?" I asked. "At the beginning," Leo said. "Back then, we were young and stupid," Hunter started, and I rolled my eyes. He ignored me and continued. "W-we only went to the party to see if we could find our mate." This time, Leo rolled his eyes, making me giggle before looking at Calix, who continued the explanation. "The short answer to that is yes, we found her." I looked at each of them in shock as Leo and Hunter nodded their agreement. "s-she rejected you? why?" I asked in complete horror. "She said either she rejected us or she had to choose between us," Leo said. At this point, I was pissed. How could someone do that to them. "After the rejection, we went looking for you so we could go home. W-we..." Leo started to get upset, and I just wanted to go to him. "We found you arguing with someone. You seemed drunk, and when we got closer, we heard people saying they had put wolfsbane in your drink..." Hunter continued for Leo, only to get upset himself. Come to think of it, Hunter had the most blood on him that day, and I couldn't contact Anna. "The wolfsbane stopped me from contacting you, and after that day, you didn't want to talk about the triplets," she answered my thoughts. "What happened after that?" I asked. "Well, that's the hard part to explain," Calix answered. "Me and Hunter were watching the altercation play out while Leo shouted at us to help you through mind link, we then all heard you scream and saw them push you into the water, Leo ran and jumped in after you as me and Hunter fought those who tried to stop him.
