"They most certainly did not!"
"This afternoon, they"ll be evaluating our prowess with weapons."
"That doesn"t sound too bad."
"Agreed," said Charlaine. "We"ve had more than ample training with them."
"Those are the easy parts," said Selena. "Then we must be assessed on all manner of things."
"Such as?"
"History of the order, standing orders, teachings of Saint Agnes, not to mention all the administration that goes with being a captain."
Danica looked intrigued. "What do you mean, administration?"
"Well, you"ll need to be able to handle the finances of your command, set duty rosters, post sentinels, and so on."
