THE AFFAIR

CHAPTER TWO The escape

Sonia sat at the extreme end of her bed with a coffee on her left hand.

it had obviously gotten colder and she was in no mood to take more of it. dropping it down on her well furnished royal blue table she turned over to Sam who had been on his laptop for ages now.

" did you find anything yet " she asked with curiosity on her face afraid to get any negative answer, sadly the expression in his face didn't change. it was the same expression he gave her about an hour ago.

Damn !

there must be something we can do about this.

we can't just let that Golddigger of a man snatch all we have ever worked hard to get.

Lexi where the f**k are you she muttered all to herself.

" am trying hard to get the website open, but it seems like someone hacked into the system" Sam replied with his face still glued to the monitor.

" well try harder that is the only way we can keep her husband from collecting the company " she replied almost panicking.

" what's wrong if he decides to manage it, after all it's his as well "

Sonia remembered seeing Lexi and her husband in a hitted argument and after that she suddenly fell into coma and now is nowhere to be found.

she was afraid of telling this to anyone however she wasn't willing to leave this company to that man, she could sense danger and felt so much insecure about alot of things.

" well am only trying to secure my job, he could decide to sack all of us, who knows " she lied.

if Leo was to sack anyone she would be the last on his mind, he needed her help and had made different proposal to her.

" yeah that's true, I have managed to open the website"

Sonia wanted to jump in excitement but there was no time for that she quickly collapsed in front of the computer.

" Sonia be more careful "

" oops am sorry " she smiled.

Sam went through some couple of files before getting to it.

" yes yes that's it am almost one hundred percent sure of that" she spoke pointing at the file.

they got into the file and got the shock of their lives.

Lexi didn't only transfer her company to Leo but all her properties had been evenly shared between him and Leena her sister.

" every single thing " they exclaimed almost at the same time.

" there must be something fishy going on here, she never made mention of her son".

" and why would she make a will

as horrible as this " Sam asked adjusting his glasses.

" that's something I don't have an answer " Sonia replied using her hands to cover her face. she was really disappointed at this time, she could only wish that God could sent an angle or better still bring back Lexi.

" we should probably just forget about this and do something else" Sam got closer to her and held her waist.

" yeah maybe we need a break from thinking about this" placing her hands around his shoulder and welcoming his gentle kiss and touch.

This was a part of Sam she couldn't resist, he was too good at taking away her breath, the kiss went from gentle to intense as he carefully lowered her to the bed kissing every exposed part .

he slide his hands into her bra touching and caressing her thick n*****s, she bit back a moan as he touched it, struggling to take off his shirt as he did the same. He smiled seeing her bare breasts. kissing and sucking them, moving from the left to the right, she was really high at the moment as he went ahead and made love to her all night long.

Lexi woke up feeling aches all over her body as usual, she stood up from the bed and went to the restroom to wash her sleepy eyes. gladly the hospital had a restroom for each of the rooms in the building.

she washed her face then teeth before finally turning to the mirror to look at her new look.

it was actually the first time she was getting an opportunity to do that after her surgeries.

slowly raising her face to see her now look.

wow ! she exclaimed feeling her face, her new look had not a single characteristics with the old one.

although looking more beautiful and attractive compare to herself without the surgery, Lexi still felt as though the person reflecting on the mirror as her was a total stranger.

She now had a different identity not even her own mother could recognize her.

if leo hadn't followed me I bet he would walk past me without turning around to notice whom was next to him she murmured to herself.

glaring at the new look one more time before leaving the bathroom.

secretly she had packed up the little things she believed was hers the previous day to make much easier for her to make her way out of the hospital

all that was in her mind was leaving this place then going very far away from her so called husband, she had long accepted her fate but knew she would miss her son dearly either ways she didn't have a choice.

opening the door she mopped to see if there was anyone coming in her direction, the long hall was dead as if no one had habited in it for years, she stepped into the hall trying to figure out where the changing room was located.

After much effort she found it

at the left end of the hall.

she managed to sneak in successfully grabbing the nearest casual outfit she saw when she heard noises outside

" Have you seen the doctor this morning Elizabeth? " one of the nurses asked the other.

" no I haven't, I think he will arrive much later today " she replied as they both walked down heading into the dressing room.

" how about your boyfriend " the third nurse chipped in causing them to haled very close to the door.

" I broke up with him last night " she whispered

" sorry dear, that must really hurt" the others nurses responded with sympathy.

Lexi on the other hand had been panicking with fear of anyone seeing her there.

she nervously searched the whole place looking for a concealed position.

she heaved a sigh of relief after finding an empty wardrobe which seemed smaller than her size, cursing her condition as she crawled into it.

" who left the lights on " Elizabeth asked glaring at two of the shelves that was open.

" that's Joanie's and Amber's shelves they must have left it open purposely along side the light"

they had barely five minutes to their shift so there was no time for gossips as everyone of them seemed to be rushing.

" has anyone noticed that the doctor has an eye on me " the second nurse blushed.

" what makes you think so " Elizabeth questioned as they all giggled.

" I don't know, just noticed he became sweeter and nicer to me that's all " she replied innocently.

no one bothered discussing further so they all kept quiet while dressing up.

" I think I would be going now, see you guys later " Elizabeth waved.

" hey Lizzy wait for me " the third nurse yelled while picking up her pen and placing it in her pocket and then leaving the room.

" well I guess all of you forgot about me " the third one hissed while bring out a burger from her bag she settled down to eat her meal with a bottle of soda.

Lexi watched from a little opening on the cupboard, it was really tiny and she could barely see anything. she had become angry waiting for the nurse to leave.

" can't believe a Nurse could be so much of a foodie " she murmured to herself. couple of minutes later she looked out of the hole, to check if it young woman was there sadly the nurse hadn't moved an inch as she started feeling dizzy and suffocated while trying to gain balance in the box dropping her head hard on it, she collapsed.

the nurse who obviously had an ear piece on was pretty far from hearing the noise, she quickly fastened her belt then left the room.

leo settled down into his bath tub to take a fresh early morning shower in his large luxurious bathroom, he was too busy enjoying his soon to be victory of making his ex wife's company and properties his, he almost didn't hear it when Leena knocked on the door. she banged it hard this time around causing he to jolt up.

" why would you bang so hard like that, I have told you that for countless times not to keep banging like a fool " there was obviously furry in his eyes but Leena wasn't someone he could intimidate like that, she knew quite very well he was capable of doing nothing to her.

give a strong gaze to him she replied,

" son of a bit*h, you smoke all day and party all night have you forgotten we have not accomplished our mission"

" and who are to talk to me " he spoke with fierce.

" says the man who takes advantage of a woman's property for his own goals and is foolishly enjoying himself without worries"

" please don't lecture me your equally in this with me " leaving the bathroom for her while she continue yelling.

" well I don't have words for you, just take a look at this " walking towards him with a tablet In her hand.

his eyes widened at the sight of what he saw.

" what is this " he asked farrowing his brows.

" that's exactly what I wanted to explain to you, the driver is black mailing me, I have given him so much money already even when I didn't get to see her corpse "

he placed his hands in his pocket while think about what they could do.

" withdrawal money from my credit card and give it to him " he replied with a smirk.

" are we really going to give him the money, this is gonna be the third time am giving it to him "

" no we are not giving it to him, tell him to come and collect his money then we will eliminate him " he replied stroking her cheeks.

" that was kinda brilliant " adjusting to his touch.

" i want to drive you insane " he replied taken her away from the room.
