~•~•~•~•~•ALEXANDER'S POV
The sun fell on her face, her brown eyes even more visible in the sun's rays.
She was still asleep, curled on my bed like she hadn’t spent half the night trying to kill me with her glares and moans. Her hair was a mess, damp at the edges from the rain, and there was a faint red mark on her jaw where my hand had been too fast, too careless.
Shit.
The memory hit me all at once.
Her voice.
I heard it again, louder than the party downstairs, louder than Angela’s laugh.
I sat up slow, dragging a hand through my hair. My head felt like it was full of haze. The room smelled like tequila, smoke, and her. That was worse.
It just occurred to me what happened here last night.
Damn!
She stirred, eyelashes fluttering, before she went still again, like she wasn’t sure if she wanted to wake up to this. I couldn’t blame her. I wasn’t sure I wanted to be here either.
I told myself it was just a kiss. But then she’d kissed back, and I felt all hell let loose.
Then I remembered her trying to pull and push at the same time.
My stomach twisted into a knot.
Jordan shifted, and her eyes opened. For half a second there was nothing but confusion. Then it all came back, and her face went cold.
She turned to me with cold eyes; those glares reminded me of my mother's.
“What the f**k?” she whispered. Her eyes opened in pure desperation.
Her eyes darted around the room, struggling to look for her shoes.
Her gown was ruffled and her hair—?
She scrambled down from the bed in anger, her breaths cutting in between. She was going to stumble into the guys downstairs if she ran out now.
"Calm down, you look like hell," I calmly said. The calm the Santiagos practiced for years without a crack.
But deep down, I didn't know how to feel.
Happy or scared?
Her brows shot up as she looked at me slowly with a sneer, her forehead tightening in a crease.
Now that was Jordan. I smirked.
“You think this is funny!!!” She yelled as she walked closer to me with shaky steps.
She was mad yet shy. I liked that.
"Nothing happened," I muttered.
She shot her head back in a flash, and the laser glares still sat cold in her eyes.
She swallowed, and I swear I saw tears shimmer.
“Nothing happened?” She whispered.
"Nothing f*****g happened, Jordan. Think I'll want s*x with you… pfft," I scoffed. I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I knew I was lying.
I wanted to f**k the s**t out of her till she could no longer moan; I wanted to hear how my name sounded on her lips, especially after hearing her last night say it in her sleep.
"Good." She said and turned to the door.
“And by the way, Jordan, you look like trash." I smirked while gritting my teeth. Luckily, she couldn't see my eyes; my hair made sure of that.
She smiled, but I saw the pain in her eyes.
“I’ll make sure this never happens again, a f*****g mistake." She deadpanned and walked out before I could reply.
I swallowed replying to it.
√√√√√√√√√JORDAN's POV√√√√
I walked out of his room and out of his lane permanently. I was going to make sure of it and the fact I was never going to pass his lane again.
I walked down the stairs tip-toeing with my shoes in my hands and my disheveled hair.
I passed the guys who are laid on the table and the floor. Passed out from being drunk.
I reached the door and stretched my hands out to open it.
“Going out—” A voice cut through the silence and stopped me dead in my tracks.
I turned face-to-face with the pink devil.
"Oh, hey there, Jordan." Another voice recoiled.
And then there were four: Taylor, Tyler, Angela, and Rachel, who was staring at me like she could murder me any moment from now. I searched my thoughts for the last time we had an argument.
"You wanted him all this while?” Taylor spat.
I stared at them in disgust; I had no time for this. I needed to get back to my dorm.
The one Alex and I shared—
I turned around, opened the doorknob, and walked out.
“How will your parents feel hearing this?” Tyler's voice echoed.
I ran past ten fields like a damn princess in distress.
On getting to the hallway, I slipped and let myself fall into someone's arms.
Strong and firm. "Hey, pretty one," Kevin's voice resounded.
I stood up, my face flushed and breaths uneven.
“Sorry… I need to get to my dorm," I said and ran off.
“Hey—”
I rushed into my room, still dark with small lightings from the sun peeking into the room.
I stood at the front of my mirror as I recalled everything that just happened within a blur.
Angela and her cohorts, Kevin catching me in his arms.
Alex—
Last night, his lips on mine.
“f**k—” I murmured. I saw the hickeys on my neck.
Visible!!
Meaning everyone I passed this morning had seen it.
“Why do I look like Rapunzel who away ran from home?” I asked myself, still at the mirror.
“Exactly. What was I about to ask?” A voice cut through the room.
