Nikki Mortelli stood in front of the floor to ceiling window in her living room, hands clasped behind her back as she watched the cars passing beneath her apartment building. Although it was nearing midnight, the streets of Seattle were full of late-night commuters using various means of transportation. Her eyes lifted to view the beauty of the Puget Sound, the water shimmering from the lights of the city.
